Prohibited Items Policy

Find out if your item is allowed. As a BorrowMe member, you are ultimately responsible for making sure that lending, borrowing, selling, gifting or buying an item is legal in the area that you currently reside.

Violations of this policy may result in a range of actions, including:
  • Adult novelties (Dildos, vibrators, dolls, etc.).
  • Alcohol and/or tobacco products.
  • Artifacts and/or cave formations.
  • Baby walkers and stationary activity centres.
  • Bulk email or mailing lists.
  • Computer hacking software, hardware or items to manufacture computer hacking software or hardware.
  • Controlled or illegal substances, or items used to manufacture controlled or illegal substances.
  • Counterfeit currency or items to manufacture counterfeit currency (Including Stamps and Coins).
  • Credit card or debit card numbers or lists.
  • Fake or altered identification (Drivers licences, employee or Government ID, etc.).
  • Fireworks, explosives or other destructive devices.
  • Government or Law Enforcement documents or uniforms.
  • Hazardous and/or toxic substances and/or materials.
  • Human/animal/other blood, body parts or bodily fluid.
  • Illegal telecommunications or cable equipment (Card programmers, descramblers, etc.).
  • Intellectual property not belonging to yourself.
  • Lock picking equipment or master keys.
  • Lottery tickets or other gambling related materials.
  • Medical devices (Pacemakers, contact lenses, needles, etc.).
  • Obscene material or child pornography.
  • Offensive or racist materials.
  • Offers of solicitation or prostitution.
  • Pirated or bootleg media (Movies, music, books, etc.).
  • Prescription drugs.
  • Recalled consumer or industrial items.
  • Restricted or regulated plants, animals or insects.
  • Stolen property, or property with serial number removed or altered.
  • Used or rebuilt batteries, or batteries containing mercury.
  • Weapons and related items.
  • Anything BorrowMe deems unsuitible to be posted within our community.
At BorrowMe, we are protecting cave formations one stalactite at a time (or is that a stalagmite? We can never figure out the difference).
